    Default Started a new business!

Some people think I am crazy starting a business in this economic climate. What the hell, day one started today, I have 36 rooms to commission at the local University and a good DSP programming project quoted today.

After a year of IT and networking for a managed services provider, I am back with my real passioj of live/commercial audio integration.

Do you like the new logo a knocked together today using Gimp?

    Hi Wayne

I'm diggin the logo looks slick, easy to remember and the colours and design will be easy to print/embroil on t-shirts.

You aren't crazy, there's still money out there. Have you been down to Elizabeth Quay yet? There is a laser/audio/water show each 30mins every night at the moment. Seem a shame most of these type shows get done by Oracle instead of local companies.

Also, the dance music festivals are changing too. E.g. The large ones have proven unviable because they lost their focus.

The new ones are smaller and focus on 1/2/3 genres instead of trying to cover from Pop-Indi-dub step-trance-techno-House- and D&B. Nobody wants to pay $250 where 70% of the lineup, you aren't interested in anyway. Also you miss things too because your favourite acts times clash because they have seven stages!

There are going to be a lot more events in the 1000-15000 range going forward which I think is good for music lovers and local supply companies. The 40000+ shows seem to get stitched up by all the international and interstate show Cos.

Now that live shows/concerts ect being an evermore important part of the music industry, new effects and services are constant in demand. I think your skills and knowledge can fill some gaps and find opportunities that are constantly expanding and evolving.

Anyway, great news, I'm excited and let me know if I can help in anyway.

Best of luck and have fun!

I like the logo, but you said Networking for an MSP, and this is the first thing that popped into my head:

    Good luck!

I love the logo. The only suggestion I have is to make the 'Audio' text a little more colourful.

I don't think the economic climate will stop you if you have a passion
