Right now, you're probably saying to yourself: "Gee, I am such a tortured sensitive soul - I wish I could express my love of lasers in poetry before a rapt audience of my peers!"

Well, you're in luck: announcing the PL poetry thread. Let's start with Haikus; easy, low-bandwidth, 3 lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.

I'm kicking this off with this little poignant gem:

Photons float afield
A movement of line and form
Light writ large: Lasers!
