    Default Laserwave 1000mW DPSS, overcurrent?

I have a Laserwave OEM Pro 532nm 1000mW that I bought used; when I power it up, the laser emits an output briefly, then trips out and the LED on the driver goes out; I'm assuming this is an overcurrent trip. Does anyone have any infor on setting the diode current for one of these?

Is there a power switch on the module? I had the exact behavior with a different module because of the contacts inside the power switch and it went away by just replacing the switch.
Im sorry for not answering the actual question, I thought this might be helpful.

No, it's an OEM style unit with a driver card, the only switch is to select analogue or TTL modulation, otherwise it's always on when the power is applied.
