    John,

NO science lab insurance off the clock, if your not covered, no un-escorted admission to active labs, and no participation.

    []
Only excuse I can use is surf the net in my office, or the fact that I'm a Masters Student (not Science) which lets me be in the building.
My boss is not happy either, this just clamped down on many, many things we do with visiting guests, as well.
    []
We had a discussion about work-around tactics. There is one, but its pushing the boundaries.

Sounds unfortunate Steve, but the answer is not to vote for a groping, insulting demonstrated fraud and accused pedophile who'd likely honor his campaign promises like he honored his first two marriages, and like he treated small businesses who did work for him.

agreed. obama is not forcing corporations to choose greed over being good humans.

look at the way trump treats people around him and people who do work for him. he will not treat the country better.

pro tip: don't vote for the idiot who will use nuclear weapons to win a twitter arguement.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

After I posted my first thought was that there might be some sort of liability/insurance issue. I can understand that. I have no idea how they expected this to work out.

Do you really think he would use nuclear weapons to win a twitter argument?

OK, that may be a bit of a stretch, but I do not feel comfortable with handing the nuclear codes over to some brash idiot who masquerades as a conservative and is little more than
an opportunistic comic book character that is as much a fraud as L Ron Hubbard with no shred of a conscience or concern for anyone but himself (not to mention the fact that he
scares the crap out of our allies). Let's see, folks like Vladimir Putin and Julian Assange are siding with Trump- what does that say?

Republican primary voters have earned a taking behind the woodshed by way of a Hillary presidency for their sheer gullibility. Sheesh!

Better luck next election- if there is one...

I think he might use twitter to win a twitter argument. Do you know of any instances where Trump sent over goons to rough someone up? Because, he certainly has the means to do that. If he hasn't then why would you jump to thinking he would nuke someone? Because someone uses twitter you think they also would nuke the world? Come up with a better argument for not voting for him.

When we are talking about someone with the erratic, emotional behavior that we've all been watching, I don't think there is any limit to what Trump might do with more power than he has now.

Recent examples include suing or threatening to sue the press and anyone he feels has 'treated him very very unfairly', including a dozen women who said he did to them exactly what he bragged about to Billy Bush and the newspaper(the New York Times) that published the articles that detailed it. In fact this man has been involved in thousands of lawsuits. An article was submitted to a legal body for publication in their magazine describing Trump's litigious bullying over the years, but they were afraid to publish it because they didn't want to get sued by Trump. Other newspapers like the Wall Street Journal also didn't publish unflattering articles about Trump for the same fear. Trump's daily comments about how the free press are "the worst" (and worse) should give pause to anyone who believes in the First Amendment.

Money is another weapon he's regularly yielded including not paying thousands of contractors, banks, and investors - oh and federal state, local governments (aka taxes). Its a con game that's gone on for decades. Make big promises then don't deliver leaving someone else to hold the bag.

Oh and for those of you who love to talk about how bad Hillary was for deleting emails, this man does it regularly: http://www.newsweek.com/2016/11/11/d...ts-515120.html

Finally and most importantly, nuclear weapons. This 60 Minutes segment from a month ago should be read/watched by every voter: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/whos-min...clear-weapons/ For those of you with a short attention span, read the last few lines of a conversation with Admiral Haney who is leads the US Strategic Command:
"David Martin: Have you ever had the conversation with yourself, well, what if the president issued an order to use nuclear weapons and I didn’t agree with it. Would I carry out that order?

Cecil Haney: The president expects me, as his combatant commander, to provide him the best military advice I have. So he would expect me to voice my opinion.

David Martin: You would have a voice but if you disagreed with a decision . . .

Cecil Haney: I’m a military man and we follow the orders of our commander-in-chief."

If this doesn't give you chills, I don't know what could. Trump has had limited powers to date. Having him in the oval office would be nothing short of the re-rising of Adolph Hitler - this time with nuclear weapons.

    -David

    "The Two Man Rule"
    [

Do you guys realize there are certainly different procedures in place for launching a single nuke for a first strike, vs. launching a rushed retaliatory strike when multiple sensors have confirmed inbound cruise or ballistic missiles?
    [
Mutually Assured Destruction is based on preventing war by knowing the other side has similar procedures and guidelines.
    [

The words "I concur" have to come from multiple individuals (elected or otherwise confirmed by the Senate) on the right communications circuit with the right authentication devices. Does Governor Pence, or Sen. Keene either strike you as a person who would say "I concur" based on Twitter? Rumor is that number three in the chain is the Secretary of Defense...
    [
Do you really think, that our politicians would allow a system to be in place allowing an easy first strike commanded by one crazed individual?
    [
Remember, a major inherent fear in all politicians is the fear of some one else knocking them off. I really doubt that after the Cuban Missile Crises, that the major leaders of our country would allow easy Nuke use. One, many of them make too much money being corrupt, and two, are always aspiring for more control. I thus doubt that any of them would like to see that gravy train incinerated in a few milliseconds. We have some of the best politicians money can buy, but many (most) of them have served and do love their country. I'm sure they would have set up a few procedural stops along the way. In fact, after the crisis settled down, the US transferred technology to the former Soviet Union for permissive control measures.
    [
While from the outside, the view is and has to be absolute obedience within the rules requiring obedience of lawful orders*, on the inside, you can bet the order would be questioned in the case of a first strike based on Twitter without the National Security Council's approval and the concurrence of sane people. While he was over-ruled and forced out of the service, even Major Hering was allowed to voice his dissent.
