Lightbulb Update - Pictures of MKII mounts

    Hi guys
This week I finally got round to making the first of my MKII optics mount. This uses the same principle of magnets to hold the sections together but this time the magnets are sunk into milled slots on the outside of the relevant bits. This allows closer fit, a more stable adjustment, and just 2 screws as intened rather than the 4 I had ended up with previously. Also I have used what I always wanted as the pivot which is a ball bearing.

The new mount works a treat and is a vast improvement over the previous version - which wasnt bad (even if i say so myself). I will be making some more to replace the other 2 in my projector and hopefully can bring one loose to the UK gathering for you to take a look at.

I dont know the answer to that yet but as you can generally remove the adjustable section and replace it without affecting the alignment Im hoping the answer is pretty good. At worst I will find out when we move everything for the UK meet in little over a month.
    Will keep ya posted.
