Rainy days are awesome for hanging out indoors and watching lasers!

A Tesla coil will be on site. I've been waiting to use this thing in the rain!

    I love this community.

High likliehood of rain on load in day and perhaps all week. What is our response?

A tesla coil, and the viewing of a meteor shower. No negativity at all.

Never change, laser community. Never change.

I cannot wait for this event. I woke up and it hit me that it's literally next week. I don't think I've been this excited for something in a long time. I'm so sorry, self, that I didn't take you to SELEM IX, I should have, and that's on me.

Oh, easily some of the greatest people on the planet. I'm down to counting the minutes. 48 hours from now I hope to be about an hour from Newton.

So my bunk-buddy, actually has to take off on Saturday, but I'll be staying until Sunday. I'm not willing to shell out another $90 for Saturday night, and this also means my ride is leaving as well.

Two requests. Would anyone be willing to let me crash in their room for the night? Floor or love seat works, trust me, I've slept in worse situations, either will work. Secondly, do any of you have a flight earlier than 3pm and room in your vehicle for my suitcase and I?

PM me please if you are a yes to either of those.

So I have enough SELEM shirts now to cover me the whole time I'm there. Am I supposed to wear them in ascending or descending order by year?

Also, if anyone has some small weak ILDA projectors I'm setting up an Amiga 500 w/ LSD1000, a Pentium 200 w/ Lasershow Designer, and a setup with 3/4" UMatic VCR split to dual VHS, feeding Image Engineering decoder feeding dual BF ADAT feeding HD24 (Capture to dual VHS + HD24 and project.) I could use a low power single color weak projector with no blanking for LSD1000 (it has no blanking signal, and maybe 12K x/y). Can probably split my woody between LD and the IE hardware, and I can turn down the output on the StanWax color board on it. The pluto IIs are free for disco room or whatever -- but I know I'm arriving later than many others. Also my Pluto IIs still have the stepper shutter (shudder, sorry I know I need to remove it.)

LED RGB Screen presentation has been written, and DK is letting me use a video projector for that. Good stuff.

T-minus 36 hours and counting. The panic and anxiety have just become very real-
    So much to still do!
