    Default Old He-Ne Power Supplies

Today's vintage laser porn is a pair of really old orphaned power supplies from Spectra-Physics. The first is a model 259, used with the model 119 frequency stabilized He-Ne. All of the other 259s I've seen are 259B. I'm giving this one a date of c1966, because that's the earliest reference I have for it.

The second one is a model 250, the familiar supply for the big model 125 He-Ne everybody remembers from college days. And from having to move that heavy as hell beast around! Anyway, this is also the oldest one of these I've seen, because it's also the only one I've seen with a "start" button. It comes from a storage locker of a former University of Michigan engineering professor George Daniel Currie. The head was all corroded looking, and it broke my heart but I just didn't want to ship that huge head all all the way from the east coast. At least I saved his old supply.

just wondering, does he still have the head? I live in Michigan and both universities are not a far drive for me,
I would love to give the head a new home if he still has it
