Default sizes of cylindrical lenses, PBS cubes and waveplates, advice needed

This seller sells cylindrical leses which are not only bigger but fatter too,

    unlike this other seller:

However, the last seller sells a PBS cube which is bigger than the previous seller. (12.7x12.7x12.7mm vs 10x10x10).

I'd prefer to buy all my components from one place, but I wouldn't want to buy something and find outs its too small for my usage after.

What are the things which determine what size cylindrical lenses, PBS cubes and waveplates you need? One is obviously beam size, but both are big enough for any beam fitting a scanner.

opt cyl are very nice. I used them on a p73 to get a very nice beam with 2x spatial filter telescope added.

For blue I found an old set of the dr lava optics. They rock. Wish I could get more. Any body know the specs on his optics?

made it from two double convex lenses 50mm and 100mm bought from surplus shed.

DTR turned me on to using http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pc-Linear-o...MAAOxykmZTNm6c

Just put the lens in and tighten down. I drill them out and use a slightly larger lens so I can make a shelf that the optic sit against to line it up. Works well.

I use to buy a premade one but I have no idea from where anymore. It was like crystal laser or such and was cheap like 30.00

I've read somewhere that FS mirrors from Surplus have poor reflectance. Have you measured the losses from the telescopics from Surplus? If they're extracted from old cameras, telescopes and projectors they might not be AR coated well.

Excellent in terms of condition (no scratches, wear), or do you mean the quality of AR coating?
