16W for $6k is not all that surprising considering 12W from Lightspace was on sale a couple years back at $5500. Time drives prices down and, Goldenstar has traditionally used the less expensive 638 red anyway. Personally - just my opinion - completed Goldenstar projectors are not quite as well refined as Lightspace but, they are far from the many other examples of "cheap Chinese" and getting better all the time. They even have higher powered models promoted by Pangolin which, although not the "be all, end all" endorsement, does carry some weight in my view.
