Default 3D Printer with 1W Laser Help

    Hi,
Adding a laser to my 3d printer - a custom build running an arduino/ramps combo, anyways, want to be sure I wire the laser up correctly.

Here's a link to the laser...listing ended but scroll down for its specs -

I can have 12v pwm going into the driver but i have no way of getting 2.5-5v into it to switch on ttl with out any tinkering (REALLY don't want to have to do that). I understand that "ttl'ing" is a way of providing a constant current to the laser diode so as not to fry it....correct me if i'm wrong.

Is there a way around using the ttl driver and powering the laser directly with 12v pwm? --- that may be a silly question :s

pic attached showing inputs and outputs

    THANK YOU

... you can use the STEP pin of the extruder without "tinkering" for the TTL-input.
