NUBM08 4.3W 455nm Laser Diode
The new stock lens looks to be a shorter focal length lens.
I will add more details as I get time to test them. The divergence from first glance seems the same as the NUBM44.
The diode has a pretty hard knee at 5A. I think 4A will be the sweet spot for this diode. It is bluer than the NUBM44 but not nearly as blue as the NUBM07E. In the middle mabye a little closer to the NUBM44 but that bump in wavelength will give it a pretty serious bump in visibility.
Power Test with G-2 Lens
Stock G-Ball Lens.

455nm pretty close to 457nm from argon
We have the old colors back
635 520 455
Is it usable for a projector though? If it's similar to NUBM44 I've read the beam is too fat and divergent.
PS. @DTR: did you remove NUBM06 from your site?
Guys, usable for projectors?
@DTR: where did NUBM06 go?
Yes, usable..I'm testing one these days, but the question is...which beam specs do you expect to achieve?

What will be the beam dimension at 1 mrad divergence? would like to know what scanners could fit.
You should expand in between 5,4-5,6mm to get 1mrad. Divergence is crazy, almost 16mrad with stock lens, so even worse than P73.
At 5mm expansion I get about 1,4-1,5mrad...
Any way to know exact stock lens FL? Based on diode specs/beam NF profile, it seems about 3mm FL, but I'm not sure

Is P73 that bad? I thought the 5.6mm diode produced smaller beam than the 9mm green and blue diodes. Sorry off topic.
