    Question DT-40 Pro "centering"

    Hi Guys,

I have my DT 40 pro running quite well on one machine at this time.

However when I ran it up first the "laser dot" was off to one side by quite a few degrees... didnt worry too much, just thought I had misaligned the galvo mechanically. So in the meantime I just told Pangolin LD2000 to apply an offset correction.
( that works but of course is 'stealing' X gain).
However, that is treating the symptom not the cause.
I have just done a physical re alignment using set squares etc and guess what ?? its still out to one side ( X is out Y seems ok). It might have prostate problems maybe ??
Beam is sitting very nicely centered on the mirrors

    Does this mean..
    1) I have to adjust the amplifier board like the IOF Input offset position ?.
    2) Do I loosen the galvo clamp and 'twist' it to align ??
    3) Any other ideas.

The galvos seem to work very well, the only adjustment I have made is to reduce the input scale factor as suggested by Yaddatrance here on PL, as I have Pangaolin with balanced input to the DT40 amp.

I am reluctant to jump in and make it worse, I have seen too many stories here on PL of "do first ask later". China is along way away to get help.

    Thanks guys

    Number 2

Only mess with this when the galvos are un-powered. Ie, power down, align, power up and check, etc
