    Default Anyone know how to adjust these flexmounts

    So i recently received a 2w 638nm laser from china but it came out of alignment so i this is what the factory tech sent me to show how to do an alignment but i cant figure out how these mounts work there does not see to be any screw in the holes they are telling me are the adjustment point
    (all these pictures and the video were sent from the factory techs)

    Top screw makes the beam move up and down. Back screw makes it move right and left BUT....I bet the will only actually move one way and if you need to go the other way you have to back the screw up and bend it by hand too much the way you want to go and then use the screw to get it where you want it. Ie it looks like a flex mount where the screw bends the metal to make it move. If it went to far in bending you have to loosen the screw and try again. Very stable mounts once set

    the problem is i can't feel any screw in the holes i cant see in so i dont even know what the head is (allen /flat ) i would have thought allen but the pic of the tools they use i cant tell what the tip is

    on the back of the mount is a small hole and a 2.5mm allen the allen i think holds it together

    Totally out of focus. But I think it's prob a n Allen wrench.

    yes it comes apart. But if you tighten it will move little in one direction. My point was if it doesn't move the way you want you sometimes have to bend it by hand to get it back past where you want and the tighten the screw to make the fine adjust. Look these only adjust a tiny amount so you have to get near perfect by hand and then do this. Hence flex mount. It flexes by being bent by the pressure of the screw.

    ok i think i got it a friend looked at the photos and told me to tweak the pbs and that fixed it
