Default Well, I was going to pop into Selem...

Well, I was going to pop into Selem, as a surprise. However someone drove a car into my home. Everyone's fine, One brand new garage door went to Fiberglas Heaven.
Need to carefully extract totaled car from garage. As I had scrapped a few LFI Rainbow tables in Chicago, the BST room would have looked sweet with MM1s , Nice lumias, and Actuators! Too Bad.....

    Sorry guys, Maybe next year...

    Steve

I found this while on my way to pm you to ask if you'd be showing up.

That's rough man...glad all is well! See you for XXI in 2017!

But if this is all just a ruse to build on the "surprise" bit...oh boy.

Don't you hate when that happens? Was it an accident?

Shes in her early 80s. Says she blacked out. My neighbor pulled her out of the wreckage.

As much as I'd like to pop in, I'm getting over a nasty mix of bugs, which is one of the hazards of working with these bio-maniacs.

PS the wreck nailed my Lexel 88. RIP Water Cooled Ion #1

Oh, and SoulFeast, a 1/2 meter double pass grating monochromator recently calibrated is setting in my trunk. We could have nailed down the HENE mystery line. Its Ok, I'll keep it for a while, and it was free. Or the first person who can prove to me they still have that line lasing can have it for the immense price of shipping.

Sorry to hear about your garage Steve, at least all the people including yourself are OK.

    RIP the gas lasers though.

That particular 612nm specimen is no longer with us. Went to use it after many moons of not doing so, and found it had a large section broken off on one end.

I'm sure there's a reason for why it is in the state it's in, but alas, we've lost a 612nm and at that, one of 3-4 known to lase 609nm. Tragic for me, because without this tube, who knows when we would have even found out about this line in the first place.

There are others, though, perhaps another time.

What more proof do you need? We've both seen the same evidence.

Sorry to hear this, Steve... But there's always next year, right? At least no one was seriously hurt, which is a relief.
