We are proud to show you our recent developed 8/12W v.2 RGB laser module.
Main feature is a new re-designed RGB Spatial Filter for those who needs very very clean beam.
We have made a hard work testing several tungsten/molybdenum/copper apertures with high damage threshold, combined with high quality Achromatic Lenses to get a perfect multiwavelenght confocal point.
High damage threshold Aperture is located inside a X-Y translator which allows to center pinhole in just a few seconds…very convenient, fast and easy. The result is almost ion-quality clean beams. In fact, all wavelenghts share the same spot size, so colour overlap is perfect.
This is for sure the best beam quality obtainable with laser diode at this power level.
Achromats and translator is from Thorlabs provider, and aperture from Edmund Optics.
These are pics from prototype, production units comes with red-gold anodised aluminium parts (except baseplate) and a red anodised cover top plate.
Top plate is to protect optics while setting up projector inside a case. Top plate is also machined to allocate two Meanwell EPP300/24 (On top) to power the module
(12W version) and to get +/-24v for scanners and also isolated 12vDC output for fans and control system. So this is a very compact setup.
Beam out heigh is also adjustable from 17 to 31mm, so it match almost all scanners brands directly, like 506, PT /DT series, Cambridge etc… So no bounce mirrors are required, no wedge below the modules to get the heigh etc, just screw the module side to scanner and adjust desired height.
