Yup.. according to Rich, or someone else on the island who told me that.
I could be totally wrong, but that's what I heard.
They have just put in a new generator. I forget the power rating but it is pretty big. Still amazes me they haven't pushed wind turbines. The East wind is pretty consistent. More and more solar is being installed on private properties.

Ha ha. Cozy indeed.
Thanks
I have my own seat! Sheesh...
Although admittedly I'm sitting right next to Brad on all 4 flights, so it will be cozy. But at least I won't be sitting in his lap!
DELTA 2575 Seat 13B
DELTA 575 Seat 13E
DELTA 504 Seat 18E
DELTA 1607 Seat 18A
Huh... Just noticed that my seat is *NOT* adjacent to Brad for the return flight. Wonder what happened there? I'm sure we booked adjacent seats when we bought our tickets.?.
Adam
Hey all, name is Hachi from Baltimore. I hang with MAGFest and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society, so I know telmnstr and Nisha. Can't wait to come party with ya'll!
I plan to do the PADI Classroom and Pool training prior to my arrival. On Utila, I would like to do my Open Water Certifications. SCUBA sounds like great fun! Also, underwater lasers? Yea?
The best flight I could do had me arriving in San Pedro Sula late Tuesday night. I have read that it's a rough place (https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/San_Pedro_Sula), but as with all rough places, there are surely some safe spots too. Per some research, the area around the Hilton looks okay -- I'm probably going to book at the La Hamaca Hostel. Any recommendations? I'll probably taxi from the airport straight over.
If anyone else is going in the night before, let me know and we can meet up as it looks like there is some nice sightseeing!
Any amateur radio users? I figure a walkie would be a great way to stay in touch on the island!
Other than that, I guess it's food, drinking, SCUBA, lasers, beautiful people, reading, sleeping, biking.. things like that? Any tips on things I must bring with me to the island? I'm a unlocked T-Mo user, so I'll probably get a local SIM or something.
Super excited!! ^_^
