I recently bagged a bargain high voltage supply made by Simco; it's intended for anti-static ionisers, but I have other plans for it. The output connectors use a cable connector referred to as a Spring Loaded Cable Connector, or SLCC; the part on the power suppli is basically, a tube about 3/8" ID and a little over 2" deep with the upper portion threaded internally with, at a rough guess, a 10 tpi thread (see here for youtube video of the mating connectors being fitted).
Simco don't list the connectors as spare parts, so I'm looking for an alternative source; I'm sure the connector isn't unique to Simco, and I have recollections of seeing something like it before, although I can't remember where. Does anyone recognise this connector?
