Looking for an alternative way to activate ILD SOS
Hi,
As we've been discussing in every detail in the other thread, I, like several others, have an issue of not being delivered my order by Innolasers-drlava-andrew. I have been emailing him twice a day for some time now, and 7 weeks after the initial order, I am sort of abandoning all hope I will ever get an answer
My order concerned a ILD SOS licence. Got the download link, but never the activation file that was to follow.
I don't know whether this is possible or not, but I am thinking that someone might possess a working ILD SOS copy he/she is not using anymore, or maybe an activation file he/she never used (can they only be used once?), or would be able to make a disk image from a working version of the software and share it with me. I’d be more than happy to pay for the service. I just don’t see any other option left…
Does anybody have a working version of ILD SOS and would be able to sell-share-help
Ultimately, does anybody know other software, even expensive ones, that I can create frame by frame animations with, importing my svg-dxf-other-vector–format files
I initially started this hobby in the hope to create a short animation movie all in laser, with a soundtrack and effects, and am a seasoned animator aside from the laser medium.
Thanks for your help

You can go vector to flash and flash to pangolin. There is a convertor. In fact it was that issue that lead me to pangolin.

Really? I never encountered it on Quickshow. I’ll look into it.
Does it not mean you will loose the 'vector' quality of your drawings, as they will be re-interpreted by the convertor?
It’d mean you have less control on optimization, wouldn't it?
Thanks for the hint

You need an activation file that matches your dongle. Cannot help there sadly.
regarding vector to any usable laser format.. there is OLA (original laser art) by zoof which can be found in the zoofpack (just search for it on the forums).
It's not super straight forward how it splices objects into frames, but it works and is free.
Regarding LC-flash.. yes there are optimization settings and it's great software... however it needs assistance.. it doesn't always pick the right color and also does object seperation based on color seperation as as well (from memory the latter)
