    Default NUBM07E Portable >465nm >4W

Haven't been using this much lately, thought someone might appreciate it more than me. Host is made my Ehgermus over on LPF. Haven't been able to test myself, should be atleast 4W, it's running a 3.5a SXD, 3e lense, and takes 2x 18650. Has a clicky tail cap that acts as a safety, with a momentary on the side. Haven't let it run for too long, but it only gets a little warm after 30seconds. It has maybe? 3 hours of uptime. Let me know if you have any questions.
I'm asking $240 shipped and I can include my eagle pair glasses for an extra $25. Thanks for looking! I want to keep this in the US.
If this gets sold before 10/20 I'll throw in the goggles for free.

The fact that you were able to stay entertained enough with a pointer for it to have 3 cumulative hours on it is impressive. Or... depressive I guess, depending on how you look at it.

I was being sarcastic. ) Not quite the pointer crowd on this forum. Yes, there are those here that dabble in them but, you'll find for the majority, cutting a piece of electrical tape or popping a balloon or putting a hole in a CD case or something isn't particularly interesting or stimulating. (Unless it's a keychain pointer and you have a willing cat.) Otherwise, they get kinda boring, fairly quickly. Not to mention the ridiculousness of needing 4 watts of power in a device you can just wave around.
    .
To be fair, I suspect most of us have them, including myself but, it was a short lived novelty and a complete waste of $300.

To be fair Brad they are really quite useful for alignment, measuring angles and checking out optics, specially if you travel a lot.

Although >4W is "overdoing " it a tad, I must admit.

Just a tad. Yes, I carry a couple small <5mW (to maybe 15mW) ones around all the time for looking at pieces of glass or crystal for lumia and so forth. And I have a 700mW 405nm for the very specific, legitimate purpose of popping balloons - that get stuck on our 14' high ceilings, although I tend to forget I even have it.

Brad: I think you forgetting something, in fact that the first ever users on this forum mostly started with a pointer and then moved along to bigger stuff
I have them, never use them.. But will never sell them.

I 4W blue is cool to have if your next door child is having fun at you with a 0,5mW and you want to stop him haha

Anyway, want I want is the "first" collection of laserpen. 5-20mW Green, red, blue, violet, yellow. the regular style one. but it`s very hard to find them out on the marked.

It was the easiest way to get hold of a diode .... clobbering the CD player had "unfortunate" effects on the "better half"!

Also I remember stuffing 2W of blue (with a "pointer" due to electricity issues) thru a plumbers T joint with a 1/2" ion laser optic connected to my garden hose with pretty interesting results which would have been even better with 4W.

    Cheers
