Laser dock refunds all US users

Someone just told me he got his money refunded for his laser dock.. the indiegogo page goal is back to $0.
Anyone know what happened?


Edit: "Unfortunately, we are unable to meet the FDA’s requirements for shipping our laser projector to the United States. It will take at least 6 more months for our product and US customers to get approved.
As promised, US-backers will receive a full refund. We’ve been in touch with Indiegogo and initially requested them to refund only US-backers. However, Indiegogo has only given us an option to fully refund all backers. We've chosen this route as the majority of customers are from the US.
The LaserDock will be in stock and shipping on WickedLasers.com early next week. All backers of the campaign will be eligible for a discount on the LaserDock, and will receive an email with a promo code."

I got the same email unfortunately, and i only ordered the dongle, to be used with my own projector!

Wasnt it all buyers? for they had to more or less remake the product? Wicked lasers is a joke.. cool product they made... but it seems to always be something with them. I am assuming the price will jump after this.. Lucky you got the dongle as very few people did.
remember that laser on a shark video they did... talk about jumping the laser shark. I am hoping pangolin will come out with a similar addition to there software!!I always loved the windows media player visualizer. Especially in highschool... hehe

actually, they're trying really hard. my guess (don't quote me on this) is the FDA/CDRH didn't get their act together in time for the release.

I didnt get the dongle, its what i ordered and it doesnt require FDA cert., BUT i still did not get it!
I guess i will have to re order it whenever available.

They could only refund all or refund nobody so I heard . So that's what they did.

I am in the boat of ordering the dongle and getting a refund. Not really sure what to do next. I also don't understand why the dongles had to be refunded seemed like they were separate funding but maybe not.

I'm thinking trying one of these out. Fortunately or unfortunately we do not have to worry about variance or FDA anything goes. Is it safe to order from them will I receive my Laserdock if I pay them ?

I am still waiting for a voucher so as to buy them direct from WL ....but nothing has turned up so far!

i brought one to SELEM. it looked pretty good through a 7 watt kvant on a big screen
