In that case I will probaly wait for next revision of FB3 and then
buy LA FREAK package. Smart Media (SM) is definitely hard to get here
in Europe (SD, xD, CF, MMC is no problem).

Of course I can buy now $595 version with memory card, but it
will not slove problem which will for sure appear if I decide
to buy another SM memory card.

Hmm that's a pity. I thought I could place order just now
and have it as soon as possible

Smartmedia is more plentiful than would at first appear. Yes, the stock on grocery store shelves seems to have dwindled, but professional memory suppliers and other places (like eBay) still have a lot to offer.

Also, don't forget that this memory is only used when the FB3 is running in stand-alone or DMX-controlled mode, and I suspect most people on this forum will mostly run it connected to a computer.

Nevertheless, the latest version of the FB3 supports both SmartMedia as well as XD Picturecard (the Olympus format). XD is really plentiful as well.

    Best regards,

Yes, you need THESE Then you can use the jack screws on the connecting lead to ensure the connector does not come apart in use. Use the female ones on the projector casing.
