1400 USD 5W
Well that is not a bad price, what about quality of the scanners.
Anyone got one of these units ?
It's actually a very good price and reasonably decent specs. Not to mention it's an ad WITH specs and a price! I've thought about it a bit just to check one out.

Well cat.
That make two off us.
Went to there site try to find the specs
Albert
Albert, there are some specs there, but the site is a mess to say the least, it follows the modern trend with loads of pages but very little info.
In fact all available info, is contained in the three lines in the original linked pic = https://www.photonlexicon.com/forums...6&d=1477296952
What threw me off, was Brad referring to this sparse info, as the "specs", IMHO this hardly constitutes a full description, let alone a spec sheet. I am not even sure whether the divergence is 1/2angle or the "truth", and as for the power,...it is pretty meaningless, if not accompanied by diode "names", the current&temp used to achieve these powers, and where they are being measured![]()
It's anyone's guess what size mirrors are on the "30K" scanners,........ so to be specific (as in "specs"), ...............all in all, it's about twice half its value in every aspect !
So obviously the best thing, would be for you to purchase one, ...take it to bits, measure a few things, then let us know the specs.

Yes, I'll admit that it's sparse and there is ideally a lot more info needed, including pics of the internals but, in all fairness, there was a LOT more in that first post than we usually get! The typical ad is:
.
"Hey, good laser. Cheap Price! Thank all friends." And a picture of a RGB cone. When you ask for a price, it has to be PM'd to you because... it's an "ancient Chinese secret."![]()
