    Default Lenses and optics

We are currently looking at sourcing optics, lenses, PBS cubes etc for our online store.

What sort of lenses and things would you guys like to see up there ? We need to start with a smaller list of the most common things.

So far, we are going to put up broadband coated PBS cubes, i'd also like to put up a range of collimating lenses etc... but not sure what type would be best.

    Any suggestions ?

Dichroics and less expensive optical mounts. Preferably 25.4 mm diameter.

The ones with legs so they can be mounted anywhere easily.

Set of good quality dichros and good quality mounts.
(And talking about it MechEng3... optics and mounts that the place you need to spend money!!)

    5X5" front coated mirrors.

Check my gallery......have about $1500 in optics and related devices..if they were baught new....I just like a good deal. I don't mind spending good $ for top quality. Most of my mounts are Thorlabs or Melles G. Optics are all Edmund Optics. That's just in my favorite projector..........

Spinning mirror cylinder about 2X4" with mount and motor. Yeah and for less then 900$ for a pair. Yes yes...there was one company in Montreal who used to sell them for that price.

Decent diffraction gratings. 1" square, both transmissive and reflective.

Also, a good source of mounts would be good.

Cylinders are easy to make. Just use plastic drainpipe covered with mosaic mirror sheet.

Use a cheap mirror ball motor for rotation.
