Robin and Jonathan do know a few people with large domes... but they would probably take the whole time to put up/down. My Costco kids geodesic dome Doesn't cut it.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Looks like I'm in. Any interest in having me bring any of the following?

    - 100W Greenlight PV (needs 240VAC @ 30A and running water, but it sounds like that's covered)
    - 7W 577nm Coherent Taipan, 3W 480nm Taipan
    - 25W Spectra Physics Millennia EV (CW, with a <2mm, <0.5mrad beam)
    - 6W RGB projector (BrightLight low divergence special)
    - Big ol' box of Junktronix junk for buy/sell/trade/barter

Definitely interested to see the Greenlight in action. There's just enough to power that, on-site.

I say bring it all! We can set up the general store as a B/S/T area also.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

If one were driving a minimalist rental, which airport would be easier to drive from... Reno, Sacramento, or San Fran?
    Any swimming near by?

Sacramento would be closest. The property is a little over an hour west of Red Bluff, which is north up I-5 from Sacramento. The closest airport is Redding, if that's an option for you. Redding is just north of Red Bluff.

Or fly into San Jose / Oakland / SFO and share a ride up with me and Zach. It'd be 3 in the front of my F-250, but you could get a look around the best little optics lab in Alviso while you're here
