638, 532 and 445 modules and optics for sale

I've been doing some winter upgrades and as a result the contents of a couple of my projectors are available.



The 532 modules are 500mW CNI MGL-H DPSS heads.
Red/blue modules are custom builds by Chris Wood (logsquared) on the the forum.




They are machined from big blocks of aluminium and are really sturdy with great heatsinking.
They use Badpips dual channel drivers

They are currently fitted with a 2W M140 445 diode and a single Mitsubishi 500mW P73 diode.
You'll see that the red part of the module is built to take a second diode, so these could be upgraded and expanded - an M462 and a pair of P73 with a cube could give great output.
445 is corrected with anamorphic prisms, and red with cylinders in a novel tube mounting arrangement that allows them to be slid back and forth to control telescope length and rotated accurately. I think the collimators are G2.

Powers on the red and blue are turned down to suit my needs at the time, so ~1W 445 and 500mW 638. You could bump these immediately to 750mW 638 and 2W 445.

They need a bit more than 5V so i use 5V supplies with the voltage turned up.

I guess the logical way to sell these is as 2x RGB sets (I also have 3x Stanwax flexmounts with dichros/mirrors per set if required), but can split them up if thats how people want them

Ok, it looks like the sets will be getting split as I've nearly sold one 532 and had an enquiry about an RB module.
So price wise it'll be £100 per wavelength, so £100 for a 532 and £200 for an RB module.

The MGL-H heads have rock solid beam! I have two got from You Adam.
Put next to an oclaro or P73 and a blue with cyl correction and enjoy your club 2W RGB laser.

What size is the red beam when it emerges from the module ?

Can you also confirm that the cube (if added) wouldn't actually touch the first Cyl lens with the setup as is? (Difficult to tell from the pics.)

I'll have to fire it up and measure it.
I'll take a pic looking sideways into the empty diode housing so you can see if you think there's enough clearance.

Sorry, I've been really busy and haven't had a chance to get it on the bench and check yet. Someone messaged me and said they'd have it so I took the sale 'as is'. That said, it's not paid for yet and I'm away until next week now....
