Laser Warning Looking for Laser Power Meter, suggestions??

    Hi all,

I need to add a power meter to the inventory but i'm having trouble sifting through the multiple listings and meter types on ebay etc.

Any suggestions on an entry level meter? Up to 30w of RGB ideally. Show laser use, not lab.

Does anyone have something second hand they'd like to move on?

Located Aus, happy to get it shipped for the right meter.

    Cheers!

The Coherent LM series is awesome if you're typically only measuring above 100mW. Compact, easy to mount on a boom and a direct USB connection. The powermax software is a little dated, but it still does a good job and logging CSVs of your meter readings is super easy.

I really like the Coherent LabMax's... had a couple of them. Paired with LM heads they're great (you're exactly right Adam!). They also work with PM series heads, but you don't get position sensing on these (invaluable for IR diagnostics).

They're not entry level pricing unfortunately.

I like the powermax idea, i just can't find anything online at the moment.

Ideally i'd like something second hand to get me going, then i can upgrade later. Unfortunately the labmax is out of my range, it does look great though!

If anyone has something they'd like to pass on that would be perfect!

    Cheers!
