    HeHe... Fossils...

Had to laugh. I can see this thread going the same way as the 'Yorkshiremans' sketch on Monty Python, with everyone trying to outdo each other...

"When I were a lad we used to live in a shoe box int middle of road"

    or

"Every morning we had to gerrup and lick road clean wit tongue"

you'll need one with a tall frame for cuts much over 6"long.
even 1/8" would work for some of the wood bases you showed.

i don't even have a vise and used channel locks to hold pieces while i drilled them.
measure carefully, center punch before drilling and do a pilot hole w/ a smaller bit first if you need to use a large bit.larger bits will drift w/out a pilot hole.

    Thank you!
    I have lots to learn.
I bought a 1w RGB projector, and have opened it up because the red beam is misaligned from the other G & B beams.
What i found was e fixed dichro holder glued with epoxy.
What i need to do now is Buy/build a new dichro holder-orientable.
Actually the projector is well built, the only bad part is the red diode, which is much like pointer glued to the internal chassis and insulated with schtch tape -_-
The green and blue look better, they are pretty close to look like lab modules with fans and alu housing, well attached to chassis.
    any suggestion?

Well, a lot of people like the flex-mounts. Dave (LaserShowParts) sells them here:
