Laser Warning Amping a DPSS 532nm Green module

    Hi there laserists,
Does anybody have any tips on amping a 532nm DPSS. Is it possible using an amp like the Is it as straightforward as setting up an amplifier (such as something similar to a badpip) for a diode laser? What is the usual Vf of the 808 pump?
    cheers,
    Will

Not sure what you mean by "amping"...?

    As for Vf, usually 1.8VDC.

Driving it with the modulation signal converted into current...

... I'm doing this by "modulating" an adjustable constant-current source.

With PWM this could be as simple, as using a small transistor or MOSFET to switch the power across a LM317 in constant-current setup -- for analogue modulation it needs an OpAmp to "follow" the input voltage ... but it's essentially too a common current regulating circuit ...
