The first laser I'm going to post is a DPSS. 532nm and 1000mw.

Turns on and makes a beam. No identifiable brand or documentation.

I searched Google photos and after bit of scrolling I found something that looked pretty similar.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    .. Zak..

We here at the forums should be so fortunate to have a friend like you.... who cares about how the owner felt about his gear. And the forums was the best place to start..Buffo's words are bonded. This forum is member moderated and has little tolerance of ANY shady members. Best wishes from a former Buckeye.. hak

Was thinking maybe a skype session might be best. You can walk around and show what you got like we were there. Maybe a party line if you can do that so multiple people can do it. I'll be at Indian lake end of this month.

^^^ that is a great idea..
Turning 70 last Monday gave me reason to consider what happens when we pass if clear intentions were not put to paper. I really have no family or 'laser' friends living very near me. My brother would likely be the one to dispose of my possessions. And he has no clue what is what.. never been to my house. This may be a topic for another thread. So just give that some thought... help Zak and later we can work on a plan. I know I would want some $$ to go to the forum.

Very nice to see Zak getting such excellent help. Len

I survived a heart attack three months ago, from a clogged artery. Came home a couple days later in a taxi wearing the hospital smock because they took me away shirtless. Walked in to the empty house feeling like a ghost, seeing everything as it would've been left had I not made it. Tools by the laser I was working on the night before. Computer still on. An unsettling experience to say the least.

Anyway, the collection of lasers and artifacts here are well documented and organized. I've included names of contacts, and instructions about handling the lasers with my important files, but it's still a hugh job to put upon someone.

Not to mention we should all document everything because of insurance in case of a fire or other problem. Once I'm gone I have no children or other relatives to even deal with it. Thankfully I'm down to a handful of diodes and one projector. I think I use to buy surplus from someone in findlay.

So I thought I sent this a while ago as a private message to somebody but I don't see any sent messages in my private messages so I'm not sure if it actually went through.

I was wondering if it would be possible or appropriate to make this thread invisible to the public and only visible to members. And plan on posting a lot of stuff and being very open but I don't know if that's necessary for the whole world to see.

I've been holding off posting stuff until I got a response but I think I might have never actually sent the message. Could a moderator help me out here?

    Thanks
    zak
