    Default Las Vegas !!

Me and a friend is planning to take a trip to Vegas
Not so sure if it will be THIS year (november, december)

If not it will be next year maybe....

We plan to maybe go to Los Angeles, for a weekend.
And then rent a car and drive to Vegas

    Any idea about that plan....
What would YOU have done ?
How much money do you think we need each...

And last question : When and where will there be any lasershow ??

I don't live in Vegas, but I have relatives that do.

For sure you want to take a full day and go see the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Take a bus tour so you don't have to drive, and bring some entertainment on the bus with you. (At least a book or something.) But don't miss the Grand Canyon. (Hoover Dam is also quite impressive.)

In Vegas, be sure to see the fountain at the Bellagio resort. Go to the stratosphere tower and ride all the thrill rides at the top. (Unless you're afraid of heights, that is.) Check out the pirate ships at the Treasure Island casino. Watch the Volcano erupt at the Mirage casino. Visit the Luxor casio too; they've got a bunch of cool stuff in there.

Might be a good idea to go to either the Mustang ranch or the Chicken ranch, just to say you've been there. (These are *legal* brothels that have become famous.) I'm not suggesting you actually become a customer, but it's cool to check it out and do some "window shopping." (Hint: the "menu" they have on display makes for a *great* souvenier... I think they only cost like 20 bucks, but be warned: They are explicit. Decidedly not for children...)

If you can get tickets, there are some incredible shows... Cirque de Solei is supposed to be awesome, but it's damn expensive. See what you can work out.

Above all, don't loose your shirt in the casinos! Hope you have a great time...

    Hey LiteGlow

Have great trip, my wife and went to Vegas a couple of months ago..

A real must if you like shows go and see " KA" ( Cirque De Soliel) at the MGM its unbelievable, 2400 yes that right, 2400 speakers with a massive stage system that moves vertical and angles.. this is big technology stuff.
Also worth seeing David Copperfield at the MGM also.. If you don't believe in magic you will after seeing this guy..
One mistake we made was having a rental car this time, the strip transport is so good the car sat in the garage for most of the two weeks we were there although handy for going out of town.
Very different to down here in New Zealand and two weeks was nowhere near enough time.
Food has improved untold since we were last there.
We stayed at Caesers Palace then to The Mandalay Bay.

Have a great trip hope you have as much fun as we did,

Yes there are lasers in many of the clubs and nightshows.

    Cheers
