    Default Single shot strobe effect

Does anyone use strobes with their shows? I've seen some where a single strobe is fired and it is a cool effect. So, I'd like to make a TTL trigger strobe. I'm thinking of hacking a cheap disposable flash camera but before I do I'd like to see if there are any inexpensive alternatives. I don't mind paying for a real one if the price is right. I don't need a big one, though. Camera size flash is just fine.

Those disposable cameras make for a neat effect. You just need to wire a power supply to it and a simple way to trigger it and your set. If you go to your local 1 hour photo shop and ask for some, they may give you them. I asked once and was given about 20 of them!
