    Reason I asked is you displayed one in the photos and I was wondering if that is what you were using to cleave the 9 watt fiber-coupled diodes...

    Have you used it in this project ?

    Hi George,

    yes, I've cleaved one of the 9W- and a 30W-diode with the same 105µm fiber, so it works ... will cleave the first series soon.

    Actually - for multiple inquiries - I'm busy developing an "omni"-interface, suited for all sorts of inputs and for different driver types ...

    ... even better working is this cheaper "cleaving tool" - cleaved 10 fibers with no problems, good results and less "overhang":

    If the pumping part is OK (only electonics broken), then the fibers can be up to 1,4m long ...
