I have some knowledge of these lasers. The issue is one of 2 things. TEC failure......tec chip ok, but driver thinking it is really hot and tries to compensate, OR the MCA assembly has become seperated or is starting to. Either way it is a difficult repair. But it can be done. I proved that as one of my repairs is working some 60 hrs of sevice. Only a 75mw, but hey blue is blue!

One thing that I have noticed is that the laser beam dot has a faint round halo around it about 4 cm in diameter. I don't remember it being there before.

Still no response from Lasever. I even requested a quote for a new laser with no reply. Maybe they are shut down.

I just got an email back as a response to a request for a quote. So, they are obviously still around and ready to sell lasers to you.

I got a response back from David earlier today asking me to return the laser. But, he gave me no return address or RMA number. Makes me a bit nervous.

Thats normal, just use the address at their website, but be prepared to send it to a black hole.

Best success I had when calling Dave directly, he speaks a bit english, but because of our time zone its a bit hard to manage. But thanks for the reminder, I will start trying to my lasers back again, I brainwashed Lasever already.

My laser is on its way back to China. Let's see how long it takes to get it back.
