    Default Laser Century

    Any one have a clue as how to blank an old unit like this that has the modulation leads that are shorted together to blank ? I would like to use it with a TTL signal if possible. Any specs available or pinouts around? It does have a TO3 diode in the head.......maybe a 2 watter. Any help appreciated.............

    Cool

    Hi Mike;

    Standard TTL blanking is zero volts = off, so it should work just fine. When you short the leads on the laser together you are pulling the blanking lead of the laser down to ground, so it blanks. But that's exactly what the controller should do. (Off should bring the blanking output on your contoller down to ground potential...)

    Have you hooked it up yet?
