... is it a pulsed or CW fiber-laser?

    Viktor

    *** EDIT ***
... if used for marking, then most likely pulsed.
Got faulty CW-fiberlasers working again by replacing the electronics with my own drivers -- but can't do this for a pulsed one

... this should be a pulsed IPG fiber laser inside - so not this simple to "repair", like a CW type.

Can you make an image of the laser type tag? -- do you have more information or data sheets?
