There is now a yellow diode with Watt level output.....577 nm I think. Just came out....
Phil Bergeron( AKA 142laser)
But where? 15 characters.
Are you sure? Not direct laser diode I'm afraid. Just microchip or so with IR source and some nonlinear.
What is your info source?
Thanks
Its a NECSEL array, another "good luck cleaning the beam up to fit on the scanners" source... Its been out for two years.
Ushio owns NECSEL, so I can guess what their quantity one price is. Basically a ton of microcavity surface emitting lasers with a doubler crystal bonded on top. Two rows of 24 emitters per row, or an optional 400 um fiber for output. That QCW on the data sheet means, Quasi CW....

Had to look this up: https://www.ushio.com/product/necsel-yellow-577-laser/
20a!
Looks expensive.
Looking for yellow for lumia, but I don’t think this is the droid I’m looking for.

... hmmm ... but stated with: "1 W (QCW) of Power" (or 0.35W CW) only ?!?

I think it’s expensive.....yellow eludes me.....
Google "vcsel" , aka vertical cavity surface emitting laser.
