Yea that not yellow to me. That's a puke green. Looks like 575-590 is the range I want. Let us know steve. I don't have the money right now to find out. I still need to save for a 520nm green.
Got my 405/445/462/532/638/660 on hand. Still need 520/589/490

put it next to 532 or 543 and it will look yellow. 568 looked yellow on the dome when used with greens and reds, although if you view it by itself its a yellowish green.
Bruce wouldn't sell me any of the medical 4 line kryptons (568,575,520,530) on the first pass. Maybe next trip.

is this for real? looks green to me.

I can confirm this is real. I bought one and another member on LPF in the states bought the other.

The beam is Greenish Yellow. There is a problem capturing 565nm with a camera though. I have tried 3 cameras and it always comes out green. The other owner in the states tried with his cameras and it also came out green for him.

There is a thread on LPF with a review i did of it.

Their was only a small number of 565nm units made. But very soon there will be larger quantities of 575nm.

    It’s not 565nm... that was a typo.
    All units are 575nm

According to my Spectro this one is 565-570 nm. And that is what the color of the beam looks like. 575nm is almost pure yellow. 565nm is a greenish yellow.

If you are the developer behind this laser how about some info on them ?. Whats the operating principal of it.

ATM, Even though I own one and know its real there are a number of high profile members denying they are real.

A 565/575 nm laser for $30 US. It sounds impossible.

Ah must be a different source then.
Our units were 575nm and more powerful.

    This measures 25-30mw using 2 different LPM's.

But the source says the new ones are 575nm at 30mw.

The one I measured was 561.1 nm and a weak peak about 561.3 nm, two closely related lines lasing across the gain bandwidth. . Remember 561 is a broad transition, with about +/= 0.6 nm wide gain bandwidth.
I bought one, kept it for two weeks, and sold it to a friend who needed it more then I do.

There are four laser laser lines in that upper manifold: 1123.4, 1123 nm, 1116 nm, and 1112 nm, so 560.5, 561/2 558.0, 556.5 center wavelengths with a +/= 0.3 nm bandwidth are possible

This is starting to look like the 445nm thread!!!!!!! I’m not complaining.
