Wow the Nike LunarEpic show is truly amazing! I can well recognize the perfect white beams of the Kore I own, along the full beam length. Too bad I don't own as much units as on the video

According to Kecked, all of the extra power in your blue and green are wasted as you don't have 3x more red than your green to make a balanced white...

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

So, I'll just quote one of my customer's sentence at a show I done last year, with my recently acquired 12W Kores : "Oh sh**, that white is truly amazing, never saw this before!!!"

That was with using full available power of all colors, no software balancing was made. And I was doing the show for this customer for the 7th consecutive year.

Really, I used to use Chroma software for a while to check the correct color balance of a projector, but for some reasons there is a hell of a difference between theory and practical, you really don't need 3x as much red as other colors to make a balanced white.

You're right on one point though : blue nowadays is mostly used to "boost" the total wattage of a projector, but hey that's true for virtually any manufacturer...

Yep, I get all that. I was just making a point.
Maybe Kecked was just railing against Goldenstar because he dislikes them or something...

Oh sorry, I haven't got it since I haven't seen that particular post you were talking about, just looking at it now...

Funny thing is, with some of my systems with 462nm blue, I can get something close to white by just having blue + green at full power, without any red in the mix

Don't know if you have seen a OPSL Blue and Yellow combined. It also looks white. :-)

Yeah I know - a very unique, beautiful white But that yellow OPSL is unfortunately out of reach of most of us...
