Well the problem is that the wiring to the scan amps (Jem is using DT40 Pro Scanners) was set for unbalanced, moving the signals to the outer two pins has cured the jitter. however it has highlghted the fact that one side of all three blanking inputs is grounded. Jem is using 2 x Lasever Lasers (green & blue) and one Maxyzmodules twin red and I'm assuming that these should be capable of differential operation.
    Does anyone know?

    Thanks

the only blanking i know of that is differntial is that of a neaos pcaom used on an ion laser (traditionally) I think the solid states should just be 0-5v. There is no real reason to make them differential....is there?
If they are workin fine then leave them!

It's working fine the image is as solid a rock. I was just reading from JEMs ILDA Standard Projector document that states that 'All signal Recievers must have a true differential input stage!' but if you guys say that it's ok as it is, then it's ok by me.

I suspect that was written before the advent or widescale implementation of the solid state laser. Like I said if it works and the volt levels (0-5v) are good and not 0-7.5 or 0-2.5 then go with it.
