    Default PT-A40

Heya, been a while. I had a problem with my machine a few weeks ago.
The Y scanner got hot and died. I am keen to replace the y scanner and amp, however I am having no luck getting hold of phenix technology .
How does one get hold of these people?
If I have to buy a whole new system I think I would like to try the dt50s.
Been a good set of scanners thou.

I tried to buy a single galvo for a client a couple of years back but they won't/don't sell them.
    Bought a complete new set.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

The sets are cheap enough, it would probably be worth getting a new set and then keeping the one good axis for a spare.

As for the DT50s, I have 2 pairs of them. I like them a lot, they are made for big beams though. If you're used to normal sized beams eg 3~4mm, I would stick with the PTs. If you are moving a 5+mm beam, the DT50s would be good for you. I would like to hit up Jian some time and see if I can get smaller mirrors for my DT50s to increase speed/scan angle.

    X-axis DT50... big mirror!

    Heya,Thanks guys.
Yeah dt50s with a little mirror would be cool.My kids are growing up, so my job is to turn the laser on. They drive it.
Perhaps a little too hard at times. They will get there though.
Might need to adjust the scan speed down a bit when they use it.
