    Default Analog laser diode drivers?

Does anyone know of a source for laser diode drivers with analog modulation that are tried and true? I see TTL modulated ones from time to time but never analog. It isn't like they are much more complicated so I don't know why. I know of Robin's and Norm's drivers but since they have never been reviewed I don't know how safe or unsafe they are.

Also, it would be nice to have drivers that don't required a regulated P/S... in other words, I'd prefer to have them plug straight into the wall.

Uhm sorry, I don't understand German language. Is the author selling it pre-built or is the schematic and part list available for people who wants to DIY?

Max modulation speed is 11Khz. Seems slow. Or is it?
