Default The 12 Days of (Laser) Christmas

So I'm working on a couple fun builds and although I'm not ready to share any information about them, I did want to share some early pictures because the volume of stuff is greater than I'm used to working with as an amateur / hobbyist builder. We are about 40 days before Christmas, so here are 40 modules just begging to be lit:

As always, my diode mounts come from Dave at Lasershowparts, colimation lenses and diodes come from DTR along with a few from Ebay and Aixiz, and my Lasorbs (specific for 405nm, 450nm, 520nm, and 638nm/650nm) come directly from the fine folks at Pangolin. It may not look like much, but the cost of these parts alone is US$3K and several days of soldering.

Now I'm sure the fine folks at X-Laser, Kvant or any of the real manufacturers probably have pics of something similar representing $300K+, but this is still the most I've ever assembled at one time.

Do you have other pics along the 12 Days of Christmas theme? Please post here!

Well for one thing it tells me he is going to use pbs cubes to combine because some of the diodes are turned 90 degrees.and by piles he’s building three small and two higher power units

nope piles by color and I see 405!

Imagine you wanted the most adept mid—power single-mode graphics projector on planet Earth and had funding budgeted for significant laser-bling. What would you build??

(None of this is for me this time by the way, but I hope it will become a cool build! At least a good one from a hobbyist builder. )

    Pictures coming . . .
