My 0.99 laser - Technifor marking system

This Technifor TD410 system appeared on ebay recently, found when searching for galvanometers. Seems no-one else found it, so it's now mine for 99p (very roughly a dollar). I have the whole system including the stage enclosure and figured it might be worth trying to use it for what it was intended, so need to find some software. Does anyone know of open source software that could drive this thing?

It's that head and scanner, but mounted in an enclosure with a height adjustable table and a rotary table.

I have a TD410 as well - from ebay as well. But mine was way more expensive. But still a bargain
As I got told, they stopped to support the systems.

But they are beautifully made and do not suffer the problems of watercooled tradional YAG systems, which often end up in a brown sea with swimming diode bars and mirrors in the sealed laser compartment...

Here it is an optical bench with YAG crystal and Q-switch, which is mounted close to the scanner. The components are passively cooled witch a peltier cooler and fan each. Some uits habe an acrylic housing instead of the aluminium lid in the linkabove. So you can see the beauty.

I first got in contact with a optical patch and scanner on a electronics flramarket and bought it for 100 bucks. Later got a complete system, made an offer becauae already had the Laserhead.

The pumping diode is in the main controler 19 inch plugin. An also peltier cooled Jenoptik diode module. These blueones. I've got me a spare for about 200Euros from ebay. In there is a small embedded PC board. This is fed from the PC via RS232 - and feeds the scanner. I was happy that my system still includes the controller Pc with windows and software and manuals on it. The interlock discription in the manuel is horrible. Sombody translated it from french into english... There is no hardware dongle for the software.

I will have to make my system running with the bulk engraving servos again anyway. So I have to tinker with it again in the winter. So if you ..
