    Default Need Window

Does anybody have or have a link to a rectangular ~1" x 1 1/4" AR 98-99% window for projector output aperature? (sorta need one in a hurry)
I checked Edmunds and WW they're pricy! If I could find a link to a square camera "skylight filter" i believe it's called..but don't know that much about camera optics..
    Thanks in advance

sorry, no quick link but this page shows some graphs of interest to anyone who wants to use a skylight or UV photographic filter as an output window.

The B+W has the best transmission specs of all tested but still only 95%.

edit: might be an old test. B+W also has an MRC coating that transmits 99.5% of light. I assume non UV light but we don't really care about that ...

might want to look at this ebay auction

sorry, forgot that you need square...

Get a standard photographic UV filter (broadband reflection free coated) and take it down to your local 1 hour express Optical store. They should have the necessary edging equipment in there, and i'm sure if you slipped one of their tech's a few dollars they would be able to cut it into a square for you.

If you were in the UK i'd do it for you in our lab

    Cheers

Actually, I was just wondering about this also. Maybe someone could make 10 or 20 of these and sell them. I would buy at least two.
