    Cool

Yeah, it's really 6mm... That's actually pretty common for a 500 mw 635 nm laser diode. (The beam profile is square, btw.) Dreambeamz has one just like it in his projector. Fortunately, he's using the ScanEco galvos in there, and they have larger mirrors than most other scanners so he doesn't loose quite as much power as he otherwise would. (With a set of DT-40's he'd loose half the beam as it spilled off the edge of the mirrors.)

That's the problem with high-power red diodes. The beam quality isn't nearly as good. That's the trade-off you get with high power red. (See this thread for more discussion about the problem.)

Yes, the beam is 6mm and square, but as usual with CNI lasers, the output is allot more, 570mW

So everyone knows, Yes the module has Analog modulation

    Question

Do you need any computer parts? CPUs, motherboard, powersupplies, RAM, video card, water cooling?

Clever use of font color there, Steve-O!

Though I have to admit I still don't understand what all the laughter is about. Maybe he really was stoned when he posted that...

A crotchet rest, probably, with implied tied quaver and crotchet rest to end.

Edit: I reckon that last ha would go better as a crotchet tied to a quaver and a quaver rest to end though... I mean, it could be a crotchet and a crotchet rest but it wouldn't have the same degree of top-spin and follow-through.
