    Default m462 source

    hey all,

it seems that dtr is out of stock on both the m462 diode and the 1.4w 9mm 462 one for some time now
is there an alternative source or are we out of 462 for good? (leaving aside the nubm07 for now)

    thanks!

well yes... if i absolutely have to...
dtr was around $50 or $80 if memory serves

lasertack has top quality merchandise in modules, drivers and optics
selling diodes may not be his main business, so he maybe he can't get big volume discounts from his suppliers

Everyone can buy things in big quantity from china and to get a volume discount. Investing in quantity wich involves bussiness risks but can be shipped directly from stock justifies the higher price if you ask me. Its great that there are still people like Lasertack that has quallity stuff ready to ship when you need things fast.

... It's not oly the price, more "avoiding hassles" - had some "funny" (and some not so) experiences with Chinese vendors, so more relying on confident sources

    Unhappy

It's shame that DTR has no anymore the M462.
All of my lasers equipped with those. Now I have to buy some 9mm diode mount in case of blue diode fault.

It is. I have been constantly poking my supplier about more but no luck and no assurances that they will come round again.
