    Default Playing PONG ...

    Dear All,

Sorry to disturb you and also sorry for my poor english ...

I have just finished to build a xy green laser projector (based on the lasershark DAC). Every thing is more or less functional and I would like to ask you if you know a piece of software that would allow me to play the Pong video game thanks to the laser projector please ?

Thank you very much for your help and your kindness.

    Have a great day,

    Skappy

Laser Shark is sort of an Avant Guarde DAC Card, used mainly by a small crowd of programmers in the electronic music scene. As far as I know it was never supported by Zoof in his games.
    Sorry...

Zoof was a member here who released Tennis/Pong and Asteroids game software to the laser community.

I have the compiled Zoof files, but they do not support Lasershark Natively. You would have to write your own wrapper/API to the open laser art API which supported cards other then Lasershark.. I am probably using the wrong programming terms, as this is all from my memories of 2007.

Get a different and better supported dac... For instance riya or easylase.. the lasershark dac isn't very widely supported so unless you are a programmer that wants to make his own applications from scratch and is ok with that : The lasershark dac is useless.

Useless?? Thatís really harsh. Macpod made a nice little open source dac that works great with openlase and iím sure other apps.

    There is pong for openlase...
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
