That was interesting...
I'm not sure if WL's statement helps them look like a responsable seller or not.If you can't tell them why you need a laser...
To pop ballons of course.

Eat Sleep Lase Repeat
May be a marketing ploy to drive prices up in fear of not being able to get one if the Gov't bans them?

That was one of the most -- no, probably THE most -- responsible pieces of television journalism on the topic of laser pointers. Most of the TV journalism I have seen tries to install a "scare factor" into the viewers.
Maybe more people should watch their local FOX affiliate, and that way others would tend to copy responsible journalism rather than gotcha, or scare tactics...

Yeah, Anything can be dangerous..let's go pour drain-o in our eye and see what happens..![]()
Good observation, Pangolin. We firearms owners out here are especially sensitive to the scare tactic modus operandi of major media, and are all too familiar with it. Good on Fox for continuing to at least be 'better' with these types of stories than the rest.
BTW, I wonder if Wicked saw a jump in sales the week that aired?
Hypothetically, were I to be completely unfamiliar with lasers, saw that on TV, and thought it was cool and would like to have one... Kathleen Cash sealed the sales pitch early on by stating "You don't need a permit to buy a laser".
