    Heh... Nothing says "expensive money-pit hobby" quite like lasers...

    Your layout picture is exactly what I had in mind. Move the air under the table to keep it cool, and to vent the heat from the power supplies as well. My new projector will be similar to that. (If I ever get the damn thing put together...) Sigh... Back to the garrage to drill some more holes.

    Hi Stuka,

    Apart from the great advice the guys always are happy to give here on PL. Take a look at the gallery area right here on PL. There are some great shots of projectors in all stages of layout and construction.
    There is a particularly good set of shots from Aijii here that shows almost exactly what the diagram provided in this thread shows.

    Stay safe until you can play with your lasers for real..
