Nice work and comparisons, Greg. In the jukebox configuration, the quarter goes where?

This photo shows the go / stop button, which is the only non-PC control needed on the jukebox. I could easily enable a coin counter line.

This simple photo is showing A 6B show in 3D perspective which to my knowledge wasn't possible with any LII system, although I guess it could have been done in some way in a 24 track show.

I have developed some combinable 3D 6B modes which are enabled through the show cues script, same as any needed overrides. The next experiment is to play a 1 projector XYRGB number such as Kandinsky on four projectors with 3D perspective and slight playback start time delays according to distance from viewer.

    Default Nice work!

The 3D implementation should be quite an asset.

    Re: Juke Box quarter port
Thanks for the thoughtful reply...but I do want you to know that I was joking around. Today, counting for inflation it would have to be $5 bills.

Yes, I read that as a joke. That's one of my favorite kinds of humor: a comic intentional misunderstanding within an interesting historical context. The developments of the past few weeks have brought the content to impressive new psychedelic heights. My heart is burning to make it possible for people to buy tickets to see this. I'm looking at a few days to complete some software features, then two or three months to prepare content from the catalog as four channel XYRGB numbers, and then I suppose start an online fundraising front to build interest in and support for getting a venue. I may have to call it Gregzarium the unoriginal comic laser concert. But I jest... Everyone from the original company I have had the honor of communicating with has been generous with their time and knowledge, including current stakeholders in the original assets.

    Cool. Glad you read right.
Full beam ahead! Laser entertainment is certainly enlightening. You've pulled off an amazing, historic resurrection with great support.

I'm a bit puzzled by the number of views of this thread, which has shot up by the better part of a million since the last postings a couple of weeks ago. The samples of my work on youtube which I post links to here only get twenty or so views. I don't care a toss about getting views on youtube, but it might be interesting to know how many people actually read this thread and what if anything is inflating the number of views.

i am on this thread like a cheap suit.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

At this point in time you may want to keep the tech details of your software work product more closely held. There are some real vultures out there. Ask me on the phone some time about laser harp development, and who really did the work.
